Privacy Policy for Diggy Days
This Privacy Policy explains how DUX Games Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you play Diggy Days (the “Game”) on Android and iOS.
By playing the Game, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
1. Who we are
Diggy Days is developed by DUX Games Studio, an independent solo developer. We do not operate a physical storefront. For any privacy questions, contact us at kremenchuksh@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account or provide your name, email, or address to play. We collect the following:
a) Information stored on your device
Your game progress and settings (inventory, upgrades, preferences, and your advertising-consent choice) are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.
b) Information collected automatically (via third-party services)
When you play, our third-party providers may automatically collect:
- Device information (model, operating system and version, language, and general region);
- A mobile advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android; Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS, where permitted), used to measure and personalise ads, including across other apps and websites (tracking) where you consent;
- App usage and interaction data (e.g. sessions, in-game events, ad interactions);
- IP address (used to approximate country/region and to deliver ads), which is not stored by us in an identifiable form.
We do not knowingly collect precise (GPS) location, contacts, photos, or microphone/camera data.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Game;
- Understand how players use the Game through aggregated, anonymous analytics;
- Display advertising (including rewarded ads you choose to watch);
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and technical problems;
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Third-party services
The Game uses the following services, which process data as independent controllers under their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob (advertising) — see Google's Privacy Policy and “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services”.
- Google Analytics for Firebase (analytics) — see Firebase Privacy and Security and Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — manages your advertising consent choices.
A full list of advertising partners is shown to you within the consent form (where applicable) and at Google's partner list.
5. Advertising and your choices
The Game shows rewarded ads. Depending on your region and consent:
- Personalised ads may use your advertising identifier and interaction data to show more relevant ads (only with your consent where required).
- Non-personalised ads are shown based on general context, not your past behaviour.
You can control ads at any time:
- In the Game: open Settings → “Manage Ad Consent” (shown where consent applies) to change your choice.
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads to reset or delete your Advertising ID / opt out of ad personalisation.
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to disable app tracking.
You can also turn off anonymous analytics in Settings → “Share anonymous analytics” inside the Game.
iOS Tracking (ATT)
On iOS, we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before your IDFA is used to measure or personalise advertising across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, we do not use the IDFA for tracking; you can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
6. Purchases
Diggy Days offers optional in-app purchases (for example, the Premium Bundle and Demolition Pack). All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never receive, see, or store your payment card or billing details. Purchase validation and restoration are handled by the respective platform, and refunds are managed by Apple/Google under their terms.
7. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)
Where the GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Consent — for personalised advertising and, where required, analytics (you may withdraw consent at any time);
- Legitimate interests — for non-personalised ads, basic analytics, security, and improving the Game.
8. Children's privacy
The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us at kremenchuksh@gmail.com and we will delete it.
9. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Information is shared only with the third-party providers listed above, strictly to operate the Game and serve ads, and where required by law.
10. Data retention
We do not maintain our own user database. Third-party providers retain data according to their own policies. Locally stored game data remains on your device until you delete the Game or clear its data.
11. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States. These providers implement safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) as required by applicable law.
12. Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent.
- EEA/UK: rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including access, deletion, objection, and withdrawing consent at any time.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (including sharing for personalised ads). We do not sell personal information for money.
You can withdraw ad-personalisation consent at any time via in-game Settings (EEA/UK), or reset/limit your advertising identifier in your device settings. Because we store no data on our own servers, deleting the Game removes all local data. For access or deletion requests concerning data held by our providers, contact us and we will direct the request to the relevant provider accordingly.
To exercise any right, contact us at kremenchuksh@gmail.com. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
13. Security
We rely on reputable providers (Google) who apply industry-standard security measures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance.
